Why planned maintenance pays

Most door breakdowns start as small problems: a worn cable, a slipping spring, a safety edge that's been knocked. A regular service picks these up early, when they're cheaper to fix and before they stop a door working.

What's included

  • Scheduled service visits at agreed intervals
  • A full check of each door's mechanical parts, controls and safety devices
  • A written report for every door, with photos where useful
  • Clearly priced recommendations for any repairs
  • Priority response for contract customers when something goes wrong

Who it's for

Our maintenance contracts suit factories, warehouses, retail premises, property managers, facilities-management companies, schools and healthcare sites. One contract can cover every door, shutter, gate and loading bay on a site, or across several sites.

Areas we cover

We carry out this work across Southampton, Portsmouth, Ringwood, Lymington, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Salisbury and the rest of Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, and can travel further for larger projects.

How it works

Setting up a maintenance contract

  1. Site survey

We visit, record every door and its condition, and agree what needs to be covered.

  2. Schedule

We agree a service frequency for each door based on how hard it works.

  3. Service and report

Engineers carry out each visit and send you a written report.

  4. Repairs

Any repairs are quoted clearly, and only carried out once you approve them.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How often should industrial doors be serviced?

It depends on the door and how much it's used. A busy loading-bay door may need servicing more often than a door that opens a few times a week. We'll recommend a frequency for each door.

Can you take over doors maintained by another company?

Yes. We'll survey the doors, report on their condition and set up a schedule from there.

Do you work with facilities-management companies?

Yes. We work with facilities-management companies and property managers as well as building owners.
